Herbal infusions At the table

The tea you want to make again

A cup you enjoy does not always need a complicated recipe. It does help to keep a record of the tea you chose and how you prepared it.

A glass of amber-coloured tea, dry tea and fresh mint.

The packet, then the cup

Begin with the ingredients and directions for the tea you bought. ‘Moroccan tea’ does not establish the same recipe as another blend. Note the specified amounts and time, then keep those details for your next preparation.

Keep a record of what you enjoy

In your notes, separate what comes in the packet from any additions in your own recipe. That makes changes between cups easier to understand. Retain the packaging if moving the tea to another tin, particularly the ingredients and storage information.
