Curry: keeping a note of the first attempt

We remember enjoying a dish more easily than we remember what went into it. A few notes while cooking with curry can help you return to that first result.

Write it down while you cook

Record the curry quantity before adding it, along with any other spices already in the dish. That makes the result easier to connect to your preparation. A familiar recipe is a useful starting point because you know which parts you want to keep.

The blend and the individual spices

Turmeric and ginger are also available separately in the pantry collection. They offer another way to build seasoning, but neither replaces a measure of curry exactly. Keep the chosen blend’s ingredient list with your recipe when checking its spices and allergens.
