Herbal infusions At the table

An infusion: notes from the first cup

The first cup is a good moment to note the blend, the amount of water and the time stated on the pack. Small details help you return to what you enjoy.

Begin with the blend’s directions

Follow the packet’s directions for the amount of water, amount of blend and steeping time. Record what you prepared and what you would adjust within those directions. Herbal preparations do not share a universal method of use.

Keep the list with the container

If transferring the contents, retain the name, ingredients and directions nearby. A taste preference does not replace plant precautions. Moroccan tea is another preparation to explore separately rather than automatically using the same steeping time.
